Arabiva is not only a shop. Every bottle that carries our name is blended and filled in our own workshop in East Al-Ahmadi, Kuwait — by hand, and with love.
Where it happens
Our workshop sits in East Al-Ahmadi. It is a working room, not a showroom: scales, measuring glass, raw materials on the shelf, and notebooks of formulas. Everything from choosing an ingredient to sealing the cap happens under one roof, which is the only way we know to keep the quality ours to answer for.
How a bottle is made
1. Choosing the materials. We buy from specialist suppliers — French perfume oils, oud, musk and amber — and we work with people who document what they send us. A material we are not sure about does not enter the room.
2. Blending. Every composition has a written formula, and every batch is measured against it. Nothing is improvised, and nothing is “about right”.
3. Resting. The blend is left to settle and marry before it is bottled. A good perfume needs time for its notes to find each other — and that time cannot be rushed.
4. Smelling. Before a batch is approved, it is smelled — on paper and on skin, and against the batch before it. If it is not right, it is not bottled. That is the whole rule.
Quality checks
Raw materials are checked on arrival, the finished blend is tested for stability, and every approved batch is recorded with its number, its blend date and who signed it off. A batch that does not pass never reaches a bottle.
Where our materials come from
We take what each region does best: oud from Assam, rose from Kazanlak, and French perfume oils alongside our musk and amber. Origin matters, but quality decides.
Made with love — and we mean it
Perfume is a slow craft. It is measuring twice, waiting a week when waiting a week is what the blend needs, and throwing away work that is only almost good. We would rather do that than send you a bottle we would not wear ourselves.
